Allison Williams joins 10 Cloverfield Lane writers new survival thriller

One of my favorite actresses out there is Allison Williams. Sure I've only seen her in writer-director Jordan Peele's Oscar-winning horror-thriller GET OUT (HBO's GIRLS just isn't my thing) but still, I'm a fan of the lady. And today we have word that Williams and Alexander Dreymon (AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN) are set to star in the upcoming survival-thriller HORIZON LINE for STXfilms. 

Swedish film and television director Mikael Marcimain (CALL GIRL, THE LASER MAN) is set to helm the film which is based on an original screenplay written by Josh Campbell & Matt Stuecken, the duo behind the "better than it had any right to be sequel" 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE.

In the edge-of-your-seat thriller:

Former lovers Sara and Jackson find themselves reunited ahead of their friend’s tropical island wedding. As the only passengers on a single-engine Cessna plane making its way over the  Indian Ocean, a spark soon rekindles between Sara and Jackson. However, when their pilot suddenly suffers a heart attack, the couple must fight for their lives to stay airborne and find their way back to land.

The movie is all set to kick off principal photography in Mauritius in February before moving to Dublin and then Pinewood in London. STXinternational is handling international distribution. The company will launch sales on the new title at the upcoming European Film Market.
