All My Friends Hate Me: UK horror comedy lands North American distribution

The UK comedy horror thriller All My Friends Hate Me had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival back in June, and now the film has landed a North American distribution deal with Super Ltd. Super Ltd has not yet announced their release plans.

Directed by Andrew Gaynord (whose previous credits include six episodes of the show Haters Back Off!) from a screenplay written by Tom Palmer and Tom Stourton, All My Friends Hate Me was described by Variety as an "exquisitely uncomfortable social anxiety comedy-horror". Stourton (The Spy Who Dumped Me) also stars in the film, which tells the story of

a college reunion that goes awry when Pete (Tom Stourton) suspects his friends may be out to get him. As their weekend getaway grows more and more uncomfortable, should he be worried about his safety, or is it all in his head?

Stourton is joined in the cast by Charly Clive (Pure), Georgina Campbell (Krypton), Antonia Clarke (I May Destroy You), Joshua McGuire (Lovesick), Graham Dickson (Down from London), Dustin Demri-Burns (Drunk History: UK), Kieran Hodgson (Two Doors Down), and Christopher Fairbank (Guardians of the Galaxy).

Palmer produced the film. Esme Hicks co-produced, with Jon Plowman, George Cave, and Peregrine Fellowes serving as executive producers. Stourton and Palmer previously worked together as "Totally Tom" to craft two stage comedy shows.

An image from All My Friends Hate Me can be seen below. We'll let you know as soon as Super Ltd reveals how and when they're going to be releasing the film in North America. The reviews that came out of Tribeca were quite positive, so it sounds like this is a movie to look forward to. Hopefully it won't be much longer before we'll know when a wider audience will have the chance to see it.
