Natalia Dyer (Stranger Things) and Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) star in the horror thriller All Fun and Games, which was executive produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo and is set to receive a theatrical and VOD release on September 1st. With the film arriving tomorrow, we have an EXCLUSIVE clip to share with you today, and you can check it out in the embed above! This one features Butterfield playing a deadly game of hide and seek with some of his co-stars.
All Fun and Games marks the feature directorial debut of Ari Costa and Eren Celeboglu, who also wrote the screenplay (based on an original spec script written by JJ Braider). Here’s the logline: The Russo Brothers’ AGBO presents a terrifying tale about a group of Salem teens who discover a cursed knife that unleashes a demon that forces them to play gruesome, deadly versions of childhood games where there can be no winners, only survivors.
And here’s the synopsis: A Russo Brothers’ ABGO production starring Natalia Dyer and Asa Butterfield, All Fun and Games explores the elements of cruelty inherent in children’s games – Flashlight Tag, Hangman, Hide & Seek – and what happens when the games go too far. When a group of teens find a cursed knife in the woods, they unleash a malevolent demon that will not rest until it’s claimed all of their lives and souls in a terrifying deathmatch.
A previous synopsis had warned us of a “cruel entity known as ‘The Skarrow.’”
Dyer and Butterfield are joined in the cast by Keith David (John Carpenter’s The Thing), Annabeth Gish (Midnight Mass), Laurel Marsden (Ms. Marvel), Kolton Stewart (Some Assembly Required), and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who played the title role in Disney’s recent version of Pinocchio.
All Fun and Games was produced by Angela Russo-Otstot, Jake Aust, Kassee Whiting, and John Zois.
