Alice’s story comes to an end in this pair of Resident Evil TV spots

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER will be one of the first films to herald the new year, wrapping up the long-running video game adaptation franchise. Sony has just dropped two new TV spots for the flick, titled "The End" and "The Truth." They're extremely portentous, and the teasers are just as bombastically crazy as you're probably expecting at this point. Check them out below!

The film's story picks up immediately after the events of RETRIBUTION and:

finds humanity is on its last legs. Alice must return to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is preparing for a final strike against the survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, THE FINAL CHAPTER stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, Rola, and Lee Joon-gi. 

The flick infects theaters on January 17, 2017.
