Always good to see the lovely Gemma Arterton strut it out on screen, although in THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED she’s doesn’t seem to be moving much. I’ll overlook that shame since it’s got the very underrated Eddie Marsan who constantly brings something unexpected to his roles.
3 new clips for the film popped up online last week while it was being screened at TIFF, along with a new poster. Doesn’t spoil too much of the story but does relays the tone and ambiance, and I have to admit I’m curious to see how it plays out.
The film from first-time director J Blakeson stars Arterton as a millionaire’s daughter who engages in a game of wits with her ruthless kidnapper and his apprentice. No release date yet for the film, but in the meantime here are those clips courtesy of the folks from Collider.
