Alexis Bledel is added to Geoffrey Fletcher’s Daisy and Violet!

Earlier this month I dropped the line regarding Saoirse Ronan and James Gandolfini being in a little film called DAISY AND VIOLET. Like last time, all I really have to say in order to get your attention is this: assassin chicks with guns. 

No, this isn’t Zach Snyder’s SUCKER PUNCH. It’s from the man who gave us Award Winning drama PRECIOUS. Not sure if we’re going to see any “off the wall/ balls to gun” action but the idea of an action/thriller with Saoirse Ronana (THE LOVELY BONES) and James Gandolfini (THE SOPRANOS) toplining makes this flick stand out. 

Variety has now reported that Alexis Bledel will be joining Ronan in the chick flick (literally) with guns. Think THE PROFESSIONAL with KICK-ASS. As awesome as that concept sounds it’ll be a wait until we get some hardcore footage or even stills from the set to show us what we’re in for. 

Now anyone who’s anyone should know who Bledel is. No seriously, if you’ve seen SIN CITY you’ve pretty much saw her first. She’s the first chick who gets whacked and then later on during THE BIG FAT KILL half (Pictured above). She works well in the atmosphere riddled with lead and bodily fluids so there should be no problem. Right? Just my two cents. DAISY AND VIOLET centers on a pair of teenage assassins who are lured into what is supposed to be just another quick and easy job, only to find complications as the man they’re supposed to kills is not what they expected.
