Alex Proyas’ The Crow will fly to Blu-ray at the end of the summer

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

If you’ve always wanted to see Alex Proyas’ gothic vision of a nightmarish Detroit in HD, good news for you: THE CROW is coming to Blu-ray. The date? SEPTEMBER 6th. More than enough time before Devil’s Night hits.

While we know the Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, additional supplements are unknown. One would have to assume that the special features already available on the DVD release , including a commentary Track, featurette, a James O’Barr Interview deleted footage, storyboards and a still gallery, will be included here.

If by some strange circumstance you don’t know what THE CROW is, here’s a synopsis: Brandon Lee plays Eric Draven, a young rock guitarist who, along with his fiancee, is brutally killed by a ruthless gang of criminals. Exactly one year after his death, Eric returns — watched over by a hypnotic crow — to seek revenge, battling the evil crime lord and his band of urban thugs, who must answer for their crimes.
