Alberto Marini’s SUMMER CAMP has been a project circling these parts for quite some time, and although we haven’t had an update on it in a few months, we’re now here with the film’s first teaser trailer. It’s bloody and people scream a lot; like a lot a lot. Look, I appreciate the fact that the first teaser came out swinging, I really do, but it's kind of all over the place and messy as hell. So much so that it's hard to follow what's actually happening on screen because there's like 100 million cuts (I counted) and lots of weird, squishy sound effects.
That said, I have no doubt that Marini has something nasty cooking with SUMMER CAMP, a film that will surely dish out plenty of the red stuff. You can find the trailer below!
Here’s the skinny:
The film centers on three American camp counselors who show up for their summer jobs at an English-language camp in Spain and come face-to-face with a virus unlike anything seen before.
SUMMER CAMP will mark the directorial debut of Marini with REC franchise director Jaume Balaguero executive producing. Jocelin Donahue, Alex Gonzalez, Maiara Walsh, Andres Velencoso and Diego Boneta all star.
