AITH Horror Videos of the Week: Alien 3, Predator 2, Michael Myers & Lussier

Another Friday is upon us, and that mean it's time to assemble all of the latest additions to our JoBlo Horror YouTube channel (check it out and subscribe HERE) together in one place. It's the AITH HORROR VIDEOS OF THE WEEK!

This week took a look at the troubled sequel ALIEN 3 for an episode of WTF HAPPENED TO THIS HORROR MOVIE?, investigated Michael Myers for BEHIND THE (MOVIE) KILLER, asked Patrick Lussier to provide video commentary on some of his favorite scenes from movies he's directed for an episode of MAKING OF, and defended PREDATOR 2 with an episode of THE F*CKING BLACK SHEEP. ALIEN 3 – WTF Happened to This Horror Movie

The 1992 ALIEN 3 is the ideal example of a Studio clusterf*ck. The development/pre-production process of that picture was a fiasco of epic proportions with way too many cooks in the kitchen. A slew of writers had a shot at it, namely: William Gibson, Eric Red, David Twohy and John Fasano. And before David FIncher took the helm, Vincent Ward and Renny Harlin were at some point slated to direct. Pop that Pop Corn and enjoy the ride as we take you through the long and tortuous journey that ALIEN 3 went through to finally hit the silver scream.

This show's M.O. in case you don't know it: Hollywood has had its fair share of historically troubled productions. Whether it was casting changes, actor deaths, fired directors, in-production rewrites, constant delays, budget cuts or studio edits, these films had every intention to be a blockbuster, but were beset with unforeseen disasters. Sometimes huge hits, sometimes box office bombs. Either way, we have to ask: WTF Happened To This Horror Movie?

PREDATOR 2 – The Black Sheep

The film stars Kevin Peter Hall, Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Maria Conchita Alonso and the late Bill Paxton. Fast paced, excessively violent, with real stunts galore (none of that CG stuff), PREDATOR 2 is like fine wine, it just gets better with time. So join us as we defend another BLACK SHEEP!
