Those of you who are up to date with Showtime’s “Dexter” are well aware that the sixth season of the series ended on pretty much the mother of all cliffhangers. Now, some of you might think that the creators of the show would somehow trick their way out of that confrontation between the two main characters, but fortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Here’s what executive producer Scott Buck had to add concerning the next season’s opening scene:
“Viewers might think we shy away from that moment of Debra walking in and seeing Dexter stabbing into Travis’ chest, but it’s just the opposite. She now has to deal with what she’s seen and what she knows. And it forces him to defend and define himself.”
