We finally have a solid release date for Adam Gierasch's noir horror thriller FRACTURED (formerly known as SCHISM) as the film will be released in theaters and digitally on Friday, April 11, according to THR.
FRACTURED is the first project being released under Seven Arts Entertainment's new genre label, Dark Arts.
This may seem like familiar news as just last month we heard that the film had set a release date, but that news was later pulled at the request of the studio. In our original report it was stated that the film would be released on April 4, but now they have settled on an April 11 release.
The film stars Vinnie Jones, Callum Blue, Ashlynn Yennie and Nicole LaLiberte.
Here's what it's about:
Dylan White, a cook in Baton Rouge with a normal, boring life. Then horrifying visions start to interrupt his waking moments, and he must face the fact that he literally doesn’t know who he is. Following clues that take him to the dark underbelly of New Orleans, Dylan soon finds both his life and soul in danger.
The film is produced by Gierasch, Jace Anderson, Kate Hoffman, Jay Firestone, Andrew Cohen and Raymond J. Markovich. It debuted at Screamfest in Los Angeles last year.
FRACTURED marks Gierasch's fourth feature. His past films include the NIGHTH OF THE DEMONS remake and FERTILE GROUND.
