Easily one of the younger and busier actresses out there today, Abigail Breslin (ZOMBIELAND, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE) just can’t sit still – but then again, why would she, when the roles keep on coming? As we’ve just learned, courtesy of Deadline, the talented actress scored herself a starring role in FINAL GIRL – the upcoming thriller directed by Tyler Shields. Seems like a definite change of pace for Breslin, which makes the news all the more interesting.
FINAL GIRL follows a pack of feral teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their final “initiation.”
The script was penned by Adam Prince, based on a story by Steve Scarlata, Alejandro Seri and Johnny Silver. Jeff Kwatinetz and Rob Carliner will handle the production, with Jack and Joseph Nasser executive producing.
