A MILLION LITTLE PIECES is based upon the best-selling book by James Frey which sparked controversy when it was revealed that the author exaggerated and fabricated large parts of what was billed to be a "brutally honest" memoir. The not-quite-so-honest story will be getting the big-screen treatment in the latest film from Sam Taylor-Johnson (FIFTY SHADES OF GREY), who also co-wrote the script along with her husband/star Aaron Taylor-Johnson (OUTLAW KING).
After walking up on a plane with no memory of the past few weeks, 23 year-old alcoholic drug addict James is given two options: treatment or death. What follows is a journey of healing his body and soul, but also connecting with other kindred spirits who are fighting for a better life. In addition to Aaron Taylor-Johnson, A MILLION LITTLE PIECES also stars Billy Bob Thornton (BAD SANTA), Charlie Hunnam (TRIPLE FRONTIER), Giovanni Ribisi (AVATAR 2), Juliette Lewis (MA), Odessa Young (THE PROFESSOR), and David Dastmalchian (DUNE).
