Hopefully this is one bullet that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will see coming. Deadline has reported that Taylor-Johnson is set to join Brad Pitt, Joey King, and Andrew Koji in BULLET TRAIN, an assassin thriller slated to be directed by David Leitch (HOBBS & SHAW) that will be based on the popular manga Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka.
BULLET TRAIN is expected to follow several "assassins who find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. Strangely, they discover their missions are not unrelated to each other." Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it's expected that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will play one of the assassins along with Brad Pitt, Joey King, and Andrew Koji. In addition to directing, David Leitch is also slated to supervise the script which is being penned by Zak Olkewicz (FEAR STREET). I'm down for anything Leitch is ready to give us, and BULLET TRAIN is already sounding like it could be quite interesting.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson recently appeared in Christopher Nolan's TENET and is slated to appear in Matthew Vaughn's THE KING'S Man, which is currently set to hit theaters on February 12, 2021 following several COVID-19 related delays.
