Aaron Paul joins HBO’s Westworld for season three

Get ready, bitches, because BREAKING BAD’s Aaron Paul has just landed a gig on one of the most popular shows around – HBO’s WESTWORLD. The three-time Emmy winner will be joining the third season, and though Deadline couldn’t give any details as to who he’s playing they’re reporting he will be a series regular. The speculation train is officially chugging, and fans of the show can start debating if he’s a host or human.

WESTWORLD hit the ground running with its first season, roping audiences in with its modern, sometimes brutal adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel (which was also made into a movie in 1973). The show’s second season didn’t receive the same praise as the first, with audiences perhaps finding it a bit more confusing than they would’ve liked. Nonetheless, the show earned 21 Emmy nominations and is coming back for season three, which will likely feature way more than just android cowboys.

Paul has been on TV for the last decade, winning three Emmys for his work on BREAKING BAD across three seasons, before starring in three seasons of Hulu’s THE PATH and voicing a character on Netflix’s BOJACK HORSEMAN. His role in WESTWORLD will be his biggest TV gig yet after BAD, and his mystery role will likely be a big one. No word yet on if said role will find him selling/manufacturing any sort of blue narcotics.
