A trio of semi-nasty new pics emerge from John Pogue’s Quarantine 2: Terminal

Hard to believe there’s gonna be a sequel QUARANTINE, but at least we can rest assured that it won’t be a remake of [REC] 2. Then again, the track record for “original” sequels to remakes isn’t so hot (see THE HILLS HAVE EYES 2 or TCM: THE BEGINNING).

Anyway, a few new images surfaced from QUARANTINE 2: TERMINAL today and boy are they nasty! Featuring a dude’s gouged neck and two chicks with a severe case of herpes to the mouth. Or something equally as disgusting. Just imagine making out with that right there… blech!!!

For those not in the know, Q2: TERMINAL goes like this: QUARANTINE 2: TERMINAL picks up
later that night at LAX, as passengers board a flight to Nashville. When a passenger becomes violently ill with a mysterious rabies-like virus, the plane makes an emergency landing at a large metropolitan airport. Jenny (Mercedes Masohn, CBS’s “Three Rivers”), a heroic yet inexperienced flight attendant, takes charge of the safety of her passengers. Relieved when a swarm of heavily equipped emergency vehicles, police units and the CDC arrive, Jenny and the passengers soon discover that they have been quarantined and are now trapped. Desperate to escape, Jenny enlists the help of one of the surviving passengers, a kindergarten teacher, Henry (Josh Cooke, A Fork In The Road, I Love you Man), to devise a plan to survive.

So basically it’s QUARANTINE…. in an airport. I like it! The concept there really works for me, I just hope they can pull it off. Seems simple enough, right? The flick’s directed by John Pogue and is set to star George Back, Jason Benjamin, and Bre Blair (among others). Enjoy the new pics below and stick around for more Q2; TERMINAL as we hear it!
