A Quiet Place Part II gets new release date

John Krasinski's A QUIET PLACE PART II with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Djimon Hounsou was set to tiptoe into a theater near you back in March. But then … you know. And today we hear the movie will now open on September 4th. But we'll see about that. It's not yet clear when theaters may reopen, but sources suspect the blackout could last through May and into June. We'll keep you updated.

Rated PG-13 by the MPAA for terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images, A QUIET PLACE PART II has the following synopsis: 

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

On top of writing and directing, Krasinski also produced A QUIET PLACE PART II with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. Allyson Seeger, Joann Perritano, and Aaron Janus serve as executive producers. A QUIET PLACE PART II hits theatres, Dolby Cinema, and IMAX on September 4, 2020. The film is projected to score a killer opening weekend around $60M. Do YOU plan to see the movie opening weekend?
