A new series of Mockingjay – Part 2 posters throw on the war paint

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

This coming weekend brings us San Diego Comic-Con 2015 and studios are already hard at work hyping several of the films which will make appearances at the Con. Lionsgate released an array of character posters for the upcoming finale to THE HUNGER GAMES franchise, THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2 in which our heroes throw on the war paint.

Check them out below.

These new posters were first released by Yahoo!, MTV, Metro, Mashable, EW, IMDb, Fandango, as well as the film's official Facebook page. THE HUNGER GAMES franchise has been one of the few YA film-series that I've actually enjoyed, so here's hoping that they can wrap things up nicely.

The official synopsis for MOCKINGJAY – PART 2:

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her.  The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

With San Diego Comic-Con approaching it should come as no surprise that THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2 will have a presence at the Con with a July 9th panel in Hall H. The panel should feature new footage from the film as well as a Q&A with cast and crew which will hopefully keep us satisfied until THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2  premieres in theaters on November 25, 2015.
