A new season two poster sees Agent Carter heading to Hollywoodland

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We've got a new season of Marvel's Agent Carter on the way, and this time the SSR officer played by Hayley Atwell will be heading to Hollywood…land. The change of location comes about as "a case that goes beyond what the LAPD or normal local police would be able to handle that falls into their purview." Shifting the action to Los Angeles will give the show a whole new look and should amp up the film noir inspiration; executive producer Michele Fazekas explains:

In Los Angeles, you have the spectacular wealth, glamour and beauty right next to the grit and crime—often right up against each other, we’re very much being inspired by Noir films.

A limited-edition poster for season two of Agent Carter was revealed by Entertainment Weekly, and will be made available at San Diego Comic-Con for free at the Marvel booth (#2329) from Thursday-Sunday, while supplies last of course.

Agent Carter will be joined in season two by Agent Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) and likely Agent Jack Thompson as EW's sources say that deals for Chad Michael Murray, Lyndsy Fonseca, and Bridget Regan are forthcoming. As we can see from the poster, Agent Carter will also be accompanied by Jarvis (James D’Arcy) in what Michele Fazekas describes as a "nice organic way."

That was always the challenge. He’s not an agent. The case for the first season is over, so the biggest question for us this season was: We love Peggy and Jarvis together, that’s a really important relationship, how do we keep them together? LA has provided us a really nice, organic way to do so.

Unfortunately for Jarvis, the move to LA isn't something he accepts with opens arms as "he hates California, he hates palm trees. He does not stop wearing a wool suit.” Fans of the show will be pleased to know that you'll be getting a little more bang for your buck as season two will consist of ten episodes when the show returns in 2016.
