If you missed seeing Ana Lily Amirpour’s splendid, spooky A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT when it came out theatrically last year, Kino Lorber is making sure you’ll feel compelled to grab it up when it comes home to Blu-ray. The distributor is issuing an awesome collector’s edition of the black & white vampire chiller later this month, and it appears to be a must-own for all genre fans.
The Blu-ray comes with a behind-the-scenes documentary produced by Vice (20 mins.), a talk with Ana Lily Amirpour and actress Sheila Vand, hosted by Vice’s Eddy Moretti (31 mins.), and some additional behind-the-scenes footage (20 mins.). Meanwhile, both the Blu-ray and DVD editions feature deleted scenes, a stills gallery, the film’s official trailer, a Q&A with Amirpour, hosted by Roger Corman at the Hammer Museum, and an exclusive essay by Indiewire film critic Eric Kohn.

Strange things are afoot in Bad City. The Iranian ghost town, home to prostitutes, junkies, pimps and other sordid souls, is a bastion of depravity and hopelessness where a lonely vampire stalks its most unsavory inhabitants.
