We are less than one month away from the release of STEPHEN KING'S IT, which is set to hit theaters on September 8th. Until then we will no doubt be hit with mucho new IT news, so try to keep up.
Speaking of which, today we have two new stills from the upcoming flick, featuring the Loser's Club and Pennywise, you know, being a godd*amn humanoid windowless creeper van. Got to love it.
On top of that, the EW article features a spot-on quote from director Andy Muschietti where he was asked what his (and actor Bill Skarsgard's) approach was to Pennywise and Muschietti's answer is classic.
Andy Muschietti on the approach to Pennywise:
Keep it weird. It’s weird all the time. Pennywise does things that make absolutely no sense, but they’re very disturbing because of the weirdness.
That's awesome to hear. I may or may not have caught a 4-minutes sneak peek of the new film last night (attached to ANNABELLE: CREATION) and all I can say from that brief clip is that "disturbingly weird" is, basically, the perfect way to describe Skarsgard's performance.
You can check out the new images below and then make sure to hit us up on social media and let us know how excited YOU are for Stephen King's IT: Part I on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
