Vertical Entertainment have released the official trailer for A Day to Die, the latest in Bruce Willis’ increasingly long line of action thrillers that put his name front and center.

Directed by Wes Miller from a script by Rab Berry & Scott Mallace, A Day to Die stars Kevin Dillon as Conner Connolly, an ex-military ops officer who has one day to pay $2 million in reparations to a local gang leader to save his kidnapped wife. In order to pull the rescue off, Connolly must reunite with his old crew (which includes Frank Grillo) to pull off a bunch of dangerous heists to repay the money. As for who Bruce Willis plays in A Day to Die, he’s the city’s corrupt police chief who has a score with Connolly.

Bruce Willis seems to be cranking out these nondescript action thrillers almost every month. We’ve already seen the release of American Siege just weeks ago and Willis will also be appearing alongside Devon Sawa and Luke Wilson in Gasoline Alley later this month. He’s got plenty more on his slate, including Paradise City, an action thriller that will find him reuniting with his Pulp Fiction star John Travolta.

The official synopsis for A Day to Die:

Ex-military ops officer Conner Connolly (Kevin Dillon) has one day to pay $2 million in reparations to a local gang leader in order to save his kidnapped wife. With her life on the line, Conner must recruit his old crew, led by Brice Mason (Frank Grillo), to pull off a series of dangerous heists to repay the money he owes and settle a score with the city’s corrupt police chief (Bruce Willis). In a race against time, the crew must rely on their tactical training and brotherhood to save themselves and those who matter most.

A Day to Die will be released in select theaters and On Demand on March 4, 2022.
