A couple of great actors show their alphanumberic faces in these new Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, character posters

As director Tomas Alfredson’s TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY inches ever closer to release, my movie boner just keeps on growing. The two trailers we’ve so far seen (HERE and HERE) have already been more intriguing than most of the promotional crap Hollywood’s been tossing our way this whole year. And with its dynamite cast, incredible director, and great source material, there’s really no way I can see this one not being anything less than awesome. Would you agree?

Below we’ve got two more in what will probably be a line of character posters for the film, featuring the likes of the always dapper Colin Firth and a wigged-out Tom Hardy, composed entirely of alphanumerics. Click either one to get a bigger look.

TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY opens November 18th.

Synopsis: Based on the classic novel of the same name, the international thriller is set at the height of the Cold War years of the mid-20th Century. George Smiley (Gary Oldman), a disgraced British spy, is rehired in secret by his government – which fears that the British Secret Intelligence Service, a.k.a. MI-6 or the “Circus”, has been compromised by a double agent working for the Soviets.
