Trailer: Dougray Scott and Connie Nielsen deal with infection in Sea Fever

The co-stars of two major blockbusters of the year 2000 have come together to star in a creepy and gross-looking sci-fi horror film from writer/director Neasa Hardiman. Dougray Scott of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II and Connie Nielsen of GLADIATOR star in Hardiman's SEA FEVER, which has the following synopsis: 

Siobhán's a marine biology student who prefers spending her days alone in a lab. She has to endure a week on a ragged fishing trawler, where she’s miserably at odds with the close-knit crew. But out in the deep Atlantic, an unfathomable life form ensnares the boat. When members of the crew succumb to a strange infection, Siobhán must overcome her alienation and anxiety to win the crew’s trust, before everyone is lost.

Hermione Corfield plays Siobhán. Also in the cast are Olwen Fouéré, Jack Hickey, Ardalan Esmaili, and Elie Bouakaze.

Infections and the open sea are two of the things that unsettle me the most. With SEA FEVER combining those, it looks like something that will really put me on edge.
