Valiant Comics adaptation of BLOODSHOT starring Vin Diesel and Eiza Gonzalez was unleashed into theaters earlier this month. And today it has hit VOD. You know why. The flick has been rated PG-13 for "intense sequences of violence, some suggestive material, and language."
It sports a 30% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: "Bloodshot gives Vin Diesel a solid opportunity to indulge in old-school action that should satisfy fans, even if the end result is disappointingly mediocre." Will you be renting it tonight? Let us know below!
Written by Eric Heisserer and Jeff Wadlow, BLOODSHOT stars Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison
A soldier killed in action and brought back to life as a superhero by the RST corporation. Now filled with an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he's an unstoppable force – stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn't know what's real and what's not – but he's on a mission to find out.
The film marks the directorial debut of Dave Wilson, who runs the visual effects company Blur Studio with Tim Miller. Diesel's co-stars include Guy Pearce (PROMETHEUS), Eiza Gonzalez (BABY DRIVER), and Toby Kebbell (SERVANT), with Sam Heughan, Alex Hernandez, and Lamorne Morris.
