Trailer released for psychological horror film Woodland!

Freestyle Digital Media has released a spooky trailer for the psychological horror film WOODLAND, about a haunted camera that sees the future (which you can watch at the top of the article). Here's the official synopsis:

a photojournalist whose future is revealed to him through the images he shoots. Set in 1989, photojournalist Jake is out-of-work and struggling with addiction when he takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman, Sparky. Jake sets up a darkroom to develop his photographs, which begin to expose disturbing premonitions of their future.

Looks interesting to me! And I spent a summer working in Alaska on a fishing boat, so I could relate to the isolation and boredom seen in the trailer (I honestly think a haunted camera would've made things better). So I might check it out.

However, while the film – directed by Jon Silverberg and starring Richard Harmon, Amanda Tapping, Frank C. Turner, Philip Granger, and Catherine Jack – came out a couple years ago in festivals, winning multiple awards, there's still no official release date for public distribution. But we'll keep you posted!

So what do you guys think? What would you do with a future-telling camera? Either way, sound off below!
