We've been hearing rumblings for months that a new FRIDAY THE 13TH franchise Blu-ray collection was in the works – back in March, JASON LIVES: FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI cast member Vincent Guastaferro said he had recorded a new commentary for the film with Thom Mathews (Tommy Jarvis) and CJ Graham (Jason Voorhees), and the next day JASON GOES TO HELL: THE FINAL FRIDAY director Adam Marcus confirmed that this twelve film set would include the unrated cut of his film, which was not available in the Blu-ray box set that was released in 2013.

Everyone suspected that the company working on this new box set was Scream Factory – and now the folks at Dawn of the Discs have caught word that Scream Factory is planning to release the "FRIDAY THE 13TH: The Complete Collection" Blu-ray box set on October 13th. That does seem like the perfect time for this.

Friday The 13th: The Complete Collection (16-discs)

Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the original Friday the 13th film (1980), this Collector's set includes all 12 films in the franchise plus new and existing extras!

Even though I already have multiple copies of the FRIDAY THE 13TH films, I'm excited that another Blu-ray collection is on the way. I look forward to hearing what the new special features will be.
