George Romero’s Resident Evil! Inside look! The Horror Movie That Almost Was

Paul W.S. Anderson's 2002 video game adaptation RESIDENT EVIL (watch it HERE) was a box office success that received five sequels released over the next fourteen years… but before Anderson was hired to write and direct RESIDENT EVIL, genre icon George A. Romero – the man who invented flesh-eating zombies to begin with – had the job, and for more than twenty years fans have been left to wonder, "What if Romero had made RESIDENT EVIL?"

That's why we felt Romero's scrapped version of RESIDENT EVIL was the perfect project to focus on in the premiere episode of our new video series, THE HORROR MOVIE THAT ALMOST WAS!
