Cool Videos: Stefan Chapovskiy pays tribute to ’80s action with War Gene

We're big fans of '80s action movies here on Arrow in the Head, so writer/director Stefan Chapovskiy's WAR GENE is right up our alley. Coming off like "RAMBO meets PREDATOR", the short film / faux trailer embedded above serves as a proof of concept for a feature film that Chapovskiy is hoping to make.

WAR GENE has the following synopsis:

1984, a team of rangers on a punitive expedition in Colombia jungle gets abducted by aliens. During the experiment, conducted on the space station, humans are forced to pass deadly tests, competing with warriors from other worlds.

Chapovskiy stars in the short as Sergeant Rabek, the soldier who looks a lot like Rambo, and was joined in the cast by John Yoo, Ira Grossman, and Jean Phoenix Le Grand.

WAR GENE was produced by Chapovskiy, who is looking to get production companies interested in coming on board to help him turn the idea into a feature film. This looks like it would make a really fun movie, so I hope Chapovskiy will have the chance to make a feature-length WAR GENE soon.
