Hocus Pocus cast reunites for web special In Search of the Sanderson Sisters

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

A sequel to the 1993 Halloween favorite HOCUS POCUS is said to be in the works, and while we wait to see how that's going to turn out, the cast of the original film has decided to get together for a one-hour online special called In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover, which has been put together to benefit the New York Restoration Project.

The film's Sanderson sisters – Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy – are all taking part in this event, which will be hosted by the legendary Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Also joining in are Thora Birch, Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw, Glenn Close, Billy Crystal, Jamie Lee Curtis, John Debney, Samantha Diaz, Harry Guinness, Todrick Hall, Jennifer Hudson, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Michael Kors, Adam Lambert, George Lopez, Alex Moffat, Martin Short, Sarah Silverman, John Stamos, Meryl Streep, Kenan Thompson, Sophie von Haselberg, "and other surprise guests." Doug Jones took to social media to show off the fact that he will be appearing in his Billy Butcherson makeup.

What exactly all these HOCUS POCUS cast members and special guest stars will be doing in this special isn't clear to me, but it sounds like something super-fans of the film will want to check out anyway.

Tickets to watch the special can be purchased for $10 at THIS LINK

Reserve your spot today for our one-hour virtual evening event on Friday, October 30! Your personalized access link will be emailed to you in advance of the event, and we will keep you informed of all the Hocus Pocus fun we have in store leading up to the big night.
