The time has arrived for a new episode in our video series The Horror Movie That Almost Was… and this one hurts me. The subject of the episode is Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash, the unproduced sequel to Freddy vs. Jason (watch it HERE) that would have dropped Evil Dead franchise hero Ash Williams, played by Bruce Campbell, right into the middle of the monster mash. This is a movie I was desperate to see from the moment the possibility was first brought up around the time of Freddy vs. Jason's release… unfortunately, New Line Cinema just couldn't make it happen.
