Justice League: Snyder Cut trailer promises an epic is coming to HBO Max

After building up to it with a series of "trailer teaser" videos, the HBO Max streaming service has finally released the full trailer for Zack Snyder's director's cut of the DC Comics adaptation Justice League – and you can check it out in the embed above!

The "Snyder Cut" of Justice League will be available to watch on HBO Max as of March 18th. This comes along three and a half years after the theatrical version of the film (watch it HERE), which was still credited to Snyder even though the film was substantially changed and reshot by Joss Whedon after a family tragedy caused Snyder to leave the project during post-production. Snyder has said that his cut of the film – which reportedly has a running time of 4 hours – doesn't feature any footage that was shot by Whedon.

Snyder did shoot some additional footage himself last year, including the scene with The Joker (Jared Leto) that the trailer ends with.

Scripted by Chris Terrio, Justice League has the following synopsis: 

Following the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to form the Justice League and protect the world from Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who seek the three Mother Boxes.

The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciaran Hinds, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, Joe Morton, Jesse Eisenberg, Joe Manganiello, Amber Heard, Harry Lennix, Kiersey Clemons, Willem Dafoe, Zheng Kai, Karen Bryson, Peter Guinness, Ray Porter, Marc McClure, and the aforementioned Leto.

I'm not really a fan of how Snyder presents these characters, but his Justice League does look epic and I'll be checking it out.
