Hannah Fierman of V/H/S to direct The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom

Our friends at Bloody-Disgusting have learned that Hannah Fierman, best known for playing the role of Lily in the anthology horror film V/H/S and its spin-off Siren, will be making her feature directorial debut with the horror film The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom.

Scripted by Brian James Fitzpatrick, the film will tell the story of 

Martin Malone, a lonely voyeur who is caught and arrested following a misstep. As he nears the end of his court-mandated rehabilitation, Martin suspects that someone or something far more sinister is watching him.

Fierman has assembled a cast that includes Damian Maffei, Felissa Rose, Kate Kiddo, Dave Sheridan, Kamarra Cole, and LC Holt.

The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom is being produced by Ryan James. Filming is expected to begin in August.

Two early posters have already been unveiled and can be seen below. The "crime watch" one was designed by Marc Schoenbach of Sadist Art Designs, the other by Jared Connor of Mexican Chocolate.

I'm a fan of Fierman's work as an actor, so I'm interested to see how she'll do behind the camera, and I like the cast she has put together for her first film.
