Turbo Kid video game coming “metrovania” style

So this is pretty cool! Game studio Outerminds is currently developing a new "metrovania" style 2D action-platformer, based on the awesome 2015 retro cult hit Turbo Kid! You can even check out a quick teaser for it at the top of the article!

In these pandemic times, announcing a post-apocalyptic videogame might seem gauche, but we’re just too excited to keep it a secret!

And here's the official synopsis for the film (which the game seems to be following):

In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, an orphaned teen (Munro Chambers) must battle a ruthless warlord (Michael Ironside) to save the girl (Laurence Leboeuf) of his dreams.

Meanwhile, no official release date as of yet, other than that it's expected in 2022. But we'll keep you updated on any new developments!
