Godzilla vs. Kong: international posters reveal official heights!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Finally! One of the big contentions – when calculating the over/under on who will win in the massive monster mash between Godzilla and Kong in the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong (since writer-director Adam Wingard has stated there will be a definitive winner by the end) – was what was the height disparity? Both kaiju have shifted heights over the years, though Kong has always been considerably shorter than Godzilla in most iterations (even the 1962 Japanese King Kong vs. Godzilla had Kong eating magical berries to grow tall enough to tussle).

But now, thanks to some new international posters (which you can see at the bottom of the article), the heights for the MonsterVerse versions of these characters have been officially canonized! Basically,  Godzilla is stated to be 120 meters (394 feet), while Kong is only 102 meters (335 feet). However, size isn't everything, and I'm still rooting for my main monke!

But who do you guys think will win? Do you think the height disparity will make much of a difference? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, Godzilla vs. Kong – starring Gojira and King Kong – will smash into select theaters and HBO Max March 31st! Here's the official synopsis:

Fearsome monsters Godzilla and King Kong square off in an epic battle for the ages, while humanity looks to wipe out both of the creatures and take back the planet once and for all.
