Eyes of a Stranger: 1981 slasher’s Blu-ray bonus features revealed

Last month, we shared the news that Scream Factory is bringing director Ken Wiederhorn's 1981 slasher Eyes of a Stranger (watch it HERE) to Blu-ray on May 18th. Produced by Georgetown Productions, the Boston-based investors who helped make the original Friday the 13th happen, Eyes of a Stranger was written by Eric L. Bloom and Ron Kurz (who did uncredited revisions on the Friday the 13th script and wrote Friday the 13th Part 2), under the pseudonym Mark Jackson. Starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, the film has the following synopsis:

A lovely blind and deaf teen reaches for a plate she just put on the counter. It's gone. She reaches again … and it's back in its original place. Someone is playing a cruel game with her. That someone is the serial killer terrorizing Miami in this terrifying thriller from the production company behind the original Friday The 13th and the director of Shock Waves.

Making memorable movie debuts are Jennifer Jason Leigh (Single White Female, Annihilation, Possessor) as that endangered but not helpless girl and Lauren Tewes (The Love Boat) as her TV newscaster sister, whose investigation inadvertently leads the killer (John DiSanti, The Relic) to her home. With a final sequence that will leave you breathless, this Stranger delivers face-to-face fear as few other films can.

It sounds like the Blu-ray is going to have some interesting stuff on it, even if they weren't able to have a chat with Jennifer Jason Leigh. I'm especially curious to hear what Tom Savini has to say about the movie, since much of the effects work he did for it was removed thanks to the MPAA.
