Stranger Things Season 4: First look teaser revealed

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

"Eleven, are you listening?"

Netflix is shaking up the internet this morning with the surprise release of the very first teaser for Stranger Things Season 4, which has yet to get a release date. The teaser is short but sweet, with it seeming to be a flashback to Eleven's days as a test subject under Matthew Modine's Dr. Martin Brenner. There's not much here, but it's still nice to know that filming is underway and that we'll be getting the new season eventually, with the general consensus being that it'll be sometime in 2022 (fingers crossed it'll be earlier).

I was actually just thinking about how shows like Stranger Things (and Game of Thrones for that matter) aren't really the kinds of hits you can reverse-engineer. No one would have thought Stranger Things would have been a breakout hit back in 2016, where it kind of seemed like a summer toss-off, only to become a global phenomenon. I'm thrilled the Duffer Brothers have been able to keep the show's quality going, with season three, for my money, as good as anything the show's ever done.

Are you excited for more Stranger Things?
