Saw: The Jigsaw Trials board game is available to order through Kickstarter

The board game Saw: The Jigsaw Trials is now available for purchase through a Kickstarter campaign that has made almost ten times its goal

The line “I want to play a game” has been spoken several times throughout the Saw film franchise, since that’s what the character Jigsaw considers his trap scenarios to be, so it’s only fitting that two video games have been made to tie in with the films. Now another Saw game is on the way – and this one is a board game that can be ordered through a Kickstarter campaign! The game is called Saw: The Jigsaw Trials, and you can secure your copy of it at THIS LINK.

When the Kickstarter campaign was launched, it has a goal of $12,283… and it met that goal in only 14 minutes. As of this writing, Saw fans have made almost $117,000 worth of contributions.

Here’s how Saw: The Jigsaw Trials is described: Jigsaw is looking for a new successor. He has trapped you all in his workshop with everything you need to create his traps, and everything you need to break them!

This 1-6 player game will see you and your friends (rivals?) combining parts to build traps while preparing yourselves for those set against you! Are you as good at making traps as Jigsaw? The better-tailored the traps, the harder they will be for your opponents to escape. Each trap has a unique story and gameplay challenge, and you can build over 2000 different traps!

The game features a jigsaw damage system. Watch your character take damage as you swap jigsaw pieces to show the injuries taken to your arms and legs. Take too much, and you could lose your limbs completely! There is no healing in this game, instead you must focus on trying to die slower than everybody else. It’s bloody, it’s gory, it’s a whole lot of fun! Only one of you is making it out alive, and only they will be worthy of taking the name JIGSAW.

Saw: The Jigsaw Trials is aimed at players who are over the age of 18. A trailer for the game can be seen at the bottom of this article.

The Kickstarter campaign is set to end on November 30th. Saw: The Jigsaw Trials will likely be available through other means in the future, but this campaign includes an exclusive Collector’s Edition that includes a life-size severed hand collectible.
