The Flash final trailer teases an epic superhero adventure

Warner Bros has released the final trailer for The Flash, which teases an epic superhero adventure that looks like a blast.

Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for The Flash, which has become one of the most-hyped superhero movies of the year. DC Studios head James Gunn has claimed that The Flash is “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made,” but it won’t be long until we can find that out for ourselves.

The Flash final trailer offers plenty of new footage, including more action from Ben Affleck’s Batman. Jeremy Irons also reprises his role of Alfred Pennyworth in the opening moments, who was last seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Despite all the hype, I’ve been trying to keep my expectations in check, but I can’t deny that the movie looks like an awful lot of fun and I can’t wait to see it on the big-screen.

The first screening of The Flash took place at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last month and our own Chris Bumbray was in attendance. “Believe the hype folks – truly one of the great superhero movies,” Bumbray wrote in his first reaction. “Ezra Miller (x2), Sasha Calle and MICHAEL KEATON. It’s pretty perfect and one of the best films of this type you could ever hope to see.” You can check out more first reactions right here.

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past,” reads the official synopsis of The Flash. “But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash will hit theaters on June 16th. What did you think of the final trailer for The Flash?
