The Netflix series Stranger Things will be coming to an end with its fifth season, and the beginning of the end is getting very close now. David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the show, has said he will be working on both Stranger Things and the Marvel movie Thunderbolts (which has a release date of July 26, 2024) at the same time in Atlanta this year. And now his co-star Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, has revealed when he’ll be reporting to set this year: right after he finishes his schoolwork in May.
Schnapp didn’t comment on how he feels about Stranger Things coming to an end when talking about going to work on the final season, but Sadie Sink (who plays Max Mayfield) has said that saying goodbye to the show will be awful, while Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) said it would be ridiculous for the show to go past five seasons.
Stranger Things season 4 had the following synopsis:
It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
Here’s the list of the season’s cast members and the characters they play:
