We’re celebrating the holidays with the latest episode in the Best Horror Movie You Never Saw video series, taking a look back at the 1980 slasher To All a Good Night (watch it HERE). Never heard of it before? Well, you can find out all about it in the video embedded above.
To All a Good Night is the sole feature directorial effort of David Hess, who is best known to genre fans for playing the role of Krug in Wes Craven’s The Last House on the Left. Working from a screenplay by Alex Rebar, Hess brought us a film that has the following synopsis:
Beautiful prep-school students face yuletide horror when a killer dressed like Santa Claus arrives on campus.
Yep, that’s really all there is to it. And what more could you possibly need?
To All a Good Night stars Jennifer Runyon, Forrest Swanson, Linda Gentile, William Lauer, Judith Bridges, Katherine Herrington, Buck West, Sam Shamshak, Angela Bath, Denise Stearns, Solomon Trager, Jeff Butts, and the legendary Harry Reems, going by the name Dan Stryker.
Our Best Horror Movie You Never Saw series is dedicated to highlighting horror films that, for one reason or another, don’t get as much love as we think they should. We know plenty of you horror hounds out there will have seen many of the movies we pick, but there will be plenty of you who have not.
The To All a Good Night episode of Best Horror Movie You Never Saw was Written by Andrew Hatfield, Narrated by Jason Hewlett, Edited by Paul Bookstaber, Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
