Mrs. Davis first look images pits a nun against an all-powerful artificial intelligence

If you remember the beginning of the year, you might recall that Betty Gilpin (GLOW) was set to star in Mrs. Davis, a Peacock series from Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez that dealt with a nun battling an all-powerful artificial intelligence. Sounds… interesting. Well, Peacock has announced the release date of Mrs. Davis as well as shared a few first-look photos of the upcoming series.

Described as “an exploration of faith versus technology — an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions,“ Mrs. Davis stars Betty Gilpin as Simon, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful artificial intelligence known as “Mrs. Davis.” The series will debut on April 20th. Check out a few first-look photos of Mrs. Davis below.

The series also stars Jake McDorman, who plays Simone’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the A.I. David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Andy McQueen, Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, and Mathilde Ollivier also star. Peacock also shared a message from Mrs. Davis, which you can read below.
