As you probably gathered from the title, The Harrisville Haunting: The Real Conjuring House is indeed about the supposedly haunted house that inspired director James Wan‘s 2013 hit The Conjuring. The documentary has the following synopsis:
Four paranormal researchers and YouTubers document the paranormal claims of the former Arnold family farmhouse built in 1736. Now known as the Harrisville Farmhouse and the inspiration for the well known movie “The Conjuring”. Are the extreme Paranormal claims from the film real? Come along with researchers Matt Benton, Joe Vitale, Bill Cook, and Eric Conner as they delve into this mysterious haunting and share their incredible findings and evidence.
Researcher Matt Benton also directed the documentary and wrote it with Tanya LaForce West. In addition to the researchers mentioned in the synopsis, The Harrisville Haunting: The Real Conjuring House also features Cory Heinzen, Jennifer Heinzen, Keith Johnson, Carl Johnson, Andrea Perron, John Huntington, and Kenny Biddle. Andrea Perron is a member of the family that was living in the house when the events depicted in The Conjuring occurred. She was played by Shanley Caswell in the film.
This documentary was produced by Eric Conner, Bill Cook, Sally Engle, Rahkee Gates, Kim Nelson, Yvonne Segura, Frank Sierra, and Michele Timmons, with Joe Vitale and Matt Benton serving as executive producers.
