Paramount and eOne‘s Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves recently brought a bit of mythology and magic to San Diego Comic-Con, drumming up excitement for the upcoming fantasy epic by bringing out the cast — with whom we now have an interview. After presenting a panel filled with new information, film footage, and hilarious banter from the cast and filmmakers, we caught up with members of the cast and crew on the SDCC equivalent of a red carpet.

Joining us for brief interview spots for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves were stars Chris Pine and Regé-Jean Page, with directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein also attending.

Speaking with Chris Pine, he talks about how his nephew brought a section of his family together for a D&D campaign. Pine describes the experience as eye-opening and something everyone should experience. Page also talks about the magic of playing D&D with friends and how the adventure asks you to work together to survive the story being told. Finally, Daley and Goldstein discuss their new movie’s heart, humor, and action. The duo also talks about the excitement of bringing Dungeons & Dragons to the big screen now that Covid restrictions have relaxed.

Based on Hasbro’s Dungeons & Dragons, the fantasy-oriented feature is being produced by Jeremy Latcham, Brian Goldner, and Nick Meyer, with executive producers Denis L. Stewart, Goldstein, Daley, Pine, Zev Foreman, and Greg Mooradian.
