American Horror Stories season 2 is coming to Hulu in July

Last year, FX’s long-running horror anthology series American Horror Story got a spin-off in the form of a Hulu series called American Horror Stories – the idea being that the new show would, unlike the original series, tell a different story in every episode. Pretty much (there were some connected episodes in the first season of American Horror Stories). American Horror Stories had the most successful launch of any “FX on Hulu” series so far, so of course we’re going to be getting a second season. FX has announced that American Horror Stories season 2 will begin airing on Hulu on July 21st.

Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck, the same duo that’s responsible for American Horror Story, this series is

a weekly hourlong anthology that features a different horror story, some of which call back to the original series, in each contained episode.

Murphy and Falchuk serve as executive producers alongside Loni Peristere, Manny Coto, Alexis Martin Woodall, and John J. Gray. Tanase Popa is co-executive producer.

The cast assembled for the seven episode first season included a mix of American Horror Story veterans with actors who are new to the franchise: Matt Bomer, Taissa Farmiga, Naomi Grossman, Billie Lourd, Danny Trejo, Kevin McHale, Madison Bailey, Sierra McCormick, Paris Jackson, Gavin Creel, Ashley Martin Carter, Belissa Escobedo, Aaron Tveit, Rhenzy Feliz, Kyle Red Silverstein, Amy Grabow, Kaia Gerber, John Carroll Lynch, Dane DiLiegro, Merrin Dungey, Chad James Buchanan, Ben J. Pierce, Ronen Rubinstein, Michael B. Silver, Dyllon Burnside, Nico Greetham, Charles Melton, Virginia Gardner, and Evan Peters. We don’t yet have a cast list for American Horror Stories season 2.
