This week will be pretty sweet for those looking forward to Netflix’s The Gray Man. To get people excited for the film’s July 22 release, Netflix has debuted three new posters ahead of an official trailer drop tomorrow. The Gray Man posters give each main character their own stylish promo, complete with warm, seductive lighting.
Based on the 2009 novel of the same name and helmed by The Russo Brothers, Netflix describes the film by saying, “The Gray Man is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.”
At $200 million+, The Gray Man is the streamer’s most expensive film ever made. In addition to Evans, Gosling, and Ana de Armas, the film also stars Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura, and Alfre Woodard.
The Gray Man posters are a tasty appetizer before tomorrow’s main course, and I’m sure that fans are eager to chow down. We’ve not seen a Netflix film of this magnitude so far, and I hope the expense works in Netflix’s favor. You can check out all three of The Gray Man posters below. Enjoy, and try not to drool all over yourself.
Once again, The Gray Man comes to Netflix on July 22.
