Creepshow season 4: Shudder confirms a new season will be filming soon

I was already taking it as a given that we would be getting a fourth season of Shudder’s horror anthology series Creepshow, and apparently I shouldn’t have – although the third season of the show finished airing back in October, Shudder didn’t officially confirm that we’ll be getting Creepshow season 4 until today. Collider adds that the season will begin filming sometime in the spring… which should get the episodes ready just in time to add to Halloween festivities.

Creepshow is a continuation of the franchise George A. Romero and Stephen King began with the 1982 film Creepshow (watch it HERE) and the 1987 sequel Creepshow 2 (watch that one HERE). So far there have been seventeen episodes of the show, most of those split into two separate stories, plus an animated special and a Christmas special.

Creepshow is presented as if it were

a comic book come to life. Explore terrors ranging from murder, creatures, monsters and delusions to the supernatural and unexplainable. You never know what will be on the next page…

Jack of all trades Greg Nicotero (writer, director, producer, FX artist, etc.) – who visited the set of the original Creepshow and worked on Creepshow 2 – serves as creative supervisor on the series. He executive produces this Creepshow alongside Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, and Eric Woods of the Cartel; Brian Witten of Monster Agency Productions; Robert Dudelson, James Dudelson, and Jordan Kizwani of Taurus Entertainment; and Russell Binder of Striker Entertainment. Co-executive producers are the Cartel’s Geoff Silverman and Anthony Fankhauser, Monster Agency’s Julia Hobgood, and Striker’s Marc Mostman.

I have really enjoyed the vast majority of this show up to this point, so I’m very glad to hear we have more Creepshow to look forward to. We’ll keep you updated on season 4 as more information is made available.
