Spider-Man: Tom Holland, Zendaya & Jacob Batalon react to the new trailer

The much-anticipated trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped two days ago and brought plenty of surprises with it. Not only did it feature more of Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, but it also confirmed the involvement of Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx as Electro as well as bringing back Sandman and the Lizard. You’ve probably watched the Spider-Man trailer more than a few times by this point, but why not watch Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon react to the trailer for your viewing pleasure?

While the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer didn’t show us Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield suiting up as their respective Spider-Men once again as has been rumoured for quite some time, there were a few clues that hint towards some elements having been removed from the trailer. There’s a moment in the reaction video when Spider-Man is about to face off against the villains and Tom Holland says, “Where’s the…” before trailing off and scratching his neck. Some have taken this to mean that Holland knows that the actual scene shows more than the trailer is giving us, and Marvel has previously said that they do manipulate trailers to keep certain plot elements and characters a secret.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will find Peter Parker (Tom Holland) turning to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help when he’s unmasked and is no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a superhero. After some magical meddling, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man. I’m really excited to see what other surprises the film has in store for us, but I really don’t need to see anymore. How did you react to the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer? Was it everything you had hoped for?

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
