Interview: Kit Harington Talks Eternals

The latest from the MCU, Eternals, offers a ton of star power: There’s Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, and more. Included in this impressive cast is Mr. Kit Harington himself. The actor has more than made a name for himself with his iconic turn as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. And in the new film, Harington takes on the role of Dane Whitman, and frankly he’s not given a lot of screen time. Still, he shares a charming chemistry with his co-stars Chan and Lia McHugh. Depending on the success of Eternals, there’s ample opportunity for it to grow. Yet there’s more to his character, which many a comic book fan will be aware of.

I recently had the chance to speak with Kit Harington about the new film and it’s always terrific to chat with him. Considering this is Marvel, the talent in question is always careful of getting too spoilerific. And considering he was involved with GOT, the actor is well aware of what can and can’t be said during interviews. This led to him opening up about his role and how it plays into this particular film. There was also a moment where he talked about his personal relationship with being a part of Game of Thrones and how it has perhaps changed since the final season. It’s always a pleasure to speak with Kit, and here’s hoping we get to see more of the actor when we get the sequel to Eternals. If you aren’t aware, the new film opens today at a theatre near you.
