Screen Media has announced that they’re giving director Casey Tebo’s horror film Black Friday, starring Bruce Campbell and Devon Sawa, a theatrical release on November 19th, with a VOD release to follow on November 23rd – just in time for the actual Black Friday, which falls on November 26th this year. With the release date(s) less than a month away, a trailer for Black Friday has arrived online, and you can check it out in the embed above! A poster for the film can be seen below.

A lot of horror fans were already sold on watching this movie as soon as they heard Campbell was in the cast, no trailer needed. But it’s still nice to get a preview of what Tebo has in store for us.

Scripted by Andy Greskoviak, Black Friday has the following synopsis:

On the busiest shopping night of the year, a group of disgruntled toy store employees must defend themselves from legions of holiday shoppers when a mysterious alien parasite turns them into monstrous creatures hell-bent on a murderous rampage.

Campbell and Sawa are joined in the cast by Michael Jai White, Ivana Baquero, Ryan Lee, and Stephen Peck.

Tebo has said this about the film:

When Andy sent me this script, it was such a blast! It reminded me of some of my favorite holiday horror movies like Gremlins or Krampus. I could see myself running to a midnight showing to see this with other horror fans, and at the same time, I could see my kids watching it at a sleepover with their friends. It’s imaginative, original, scary, fun, and the right bit of ridiculous — and that’s all the things I want to see in a movie!”

Black Friday was produced by MFW Productions and Warner Davis of the Warner Davis Company.
